Massage Oils
Different parts of the plants are used including the leaves, flowers, roots, bark, fruit, seeds and stems. For example, we use the root of high altitude herb, Spikenard (Nardostachys Grandiflora) and the leaves of the sacred Peepal (Ficus Religiosa) tree.
The herbs are carefully prepared for use and may be gently hand shredded, finely ground or laid out in our garden to slowly dry in the sun.
Reflecting the ecological and cultural diversity of the Himalayan region, we blend the herbs in accordance with ancient herbal traditions, Ayurvedic knowledge, Tibetan therapies and the wisdom of mountain healers.
For oils that are rich in herbal essence, we add our herbal blends to skin-loving olive oil and leave them to slowly infuse in the warmth of the Himalayan sun for at least a month.
Whole Earth Herbs oils are light, non-greasy and easily absorbed into the skin. They may be used as massage oil, body oil or added to a bath.
